Recently visited CL for a treatment, had a wonderful extremely experienced nurse called Moira do my treatment, a thoroughly nice and v professional woman .
Moira was absolutely brilliant. Her nursing experience and professionalism shone through and I new I was in a safe pair of hands. I really can't speak highly enough about Moira and I have to say I can be a little over critical sometimes so believe me when I say this lady is great !

I have had a couple of treatments of PRP for facial rejuvenation (the 'Vampire Facial'!) 1 month apart - this is to rejuvenate my skin. I am just seeing the results now - fine lines have definitely softened , my skin looks fresher and smoother! have my final treatment next week and whilst this will be my last one the rejuvenation will continue - skin will continue to get better and renew its collagen!
Last week I started with Botox - just to soften the very heavy frown lines on my forehead
This takes two weeks to start to really take effect and again I can visibly see that my forehead and laughter lines are fading!

My skin looked tired, dry and lined. I didn't want my face to look 'frozen' just better skin texture and less lines !

"I went to see Moira regarding a mole reduction and she was extremely helpful. She gave me lots of advice and information about electrocautery and moles. Moira actually conducted the procedure there and then in that appointment. She made me feel so at ease during the procedure and she is extremely professional. Moira is very friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the whole appointment. I would definitely recommend going to Moira if you have any skin tags or moles which need removing and I will definitely be going back in the future to have more removed.

My son has struggled with hyperhidrosis from a very young age. Because of this we have spent a lot of time researching anti-sweat products for hands/feet - we have consequently spent a lot of money on products that had little/no impact.
As my son moved into his teenage years he has found this condition very difficult to cope with. At around age 14/15 he was referred to a dermatologist who prescribed medication to reduce sweating. For a few months my son saw an improvement in his sweating but this effect was reduced the longer he took the medication. The dermatologist then referred my son to the hospital for a series of iontophoresis sessions. As the sessions offered were spread over a number of weeks and ideally for this treatment to work sessions should be close together, we decided to buy a hospital grade machine to use at home - at a cost of about £450. A lot of time and commitment went into using this machine but overall it seemed to make little difference. We knew that surgery would never be an option we would want (dermatologist agreed). It was at this point that we booked an appointment with Moira to discuss having Botox treatment on my son's hands. Based on his discussion with Moira my son decided to go ahead with the treatment.
I can honestly say that having this treatment has been life changing for my son. Moira has been so understanding of the upset and concern that this condition causes and took the time to discuss this and to talk through the procedure and the likely results. The procedure was uncomfortable - but what a result! After the first treatment my son saw about a 60% improvement and after the second follow up treatment, my son's hands have dramatically improved.
Getting this treatment from Moira will now be our long term approach to managing this condition.
We are so pleased that we have found Moira. Her calm, friendly and understanding approach led my son to try this treatment. Her knowledge and skilled approach when carrying out this treatment clearly reflected her knowledge/training and ability in using this treatment which was very reassuring. We would without a doubt totally recommend Moira to help anyone struggling with this condition.
Fast approaching my 6th decade, I decided my skin and face was in need of some sort of repair!
I had little knowledge of fillers, Botox or any other sort of aesthetic treatments.
Decided I needed to research the matter, so I went to see four different practitioners who all had different ideas!
I chose Moira eventually for a number of reasons:
Similar in age and a woman who understood I didn’t want to attempt to look 20, but just better than I was (me on a really really good day)!
We agreed on a combination of retinol treatment, to assist with sun damage and teenage years of spot picking and residual scars to start with. Then a combination of Botox, fillers and the perfect peel.
Every procedure was fully explained in terms of what the expected results would be, & why fillers and Botox went in different areas! All was done fine, Botox on forehead, and lines.
Fillers in cheeks to pull everything up & pad it out, & fillers in my lip lines. Painful a little and I looked like a pin cushion for a couple of days.
We then went for the Perfect Peel with booster, and wow what a result! Skin is soft, clear and really great! Fine lines reduced too. It was well worth the discomfort ( I won’t pretend it was great to go through especially in summer)! However if you do the research the peel does what it says on the tin , unfortunately you are actually better trimming off the dead skin with scissors! In terms of instructions I followed them to the letter, bar slathering on additional moisturiser every couple of hours rather than twice a day! I looked like an oompaloompa for a couple of days and then the peel started!
A few weeks in I look younger, fresher faced less worried (no lines), and it has done wonders for my confidence I will smile now on photos. I have had lots of compliments to my amazement where people have said how WELL I look. I admit to having it done and all say they wouldn’t have known!
I look forward to my next appointment for a possible boost!
I would say if you are contemplating work, do your research, work out what you want, spend your money it’s pointless having a bit done, my thought was “in for a penny in for a pound”! And the whole lot had exceeded my expectations,
